Cupcakes! was the first app that the design team at Scripps Networks Interactive released that had been created using Adobe DPS as a platform for digital publishing. While I was not involved in designing look-and-feel, I was involved in designing multiple chapters in the app using the set look-and-feel (see below for a sample). A few months later, I was in charge of updating recipes in the app and re-releasing it through iTunes.

After the release of the Favorites series, we at Scripps realized that we needed a retina update to Cupcakes! and it was almost exactly a year later that we were tasked with the job of updating every page and vector design component in the app to retina.
We also had to create new HTML pages, so that recipes could be shared straight from the app through social media outlets on
the web.
