Design is putting together a complete puzzle with as few pieces as possible to capture an entire scene. Design is solving a problem based on a complete creative brief. Design is hard; sometimes, it seems like the best ideas are born when there isn’t enough time to think. The most intelligent type of design work is invisible.

Working for myself now, I have experience in both agency-style work, and in-house design work, having retained post as a visual designer in NYC for Scripps Networks Interactive, the company that brings you Food Network and Cooking Channel. Hitting the ground running, working with talented people and on smaller-sized teams are some styles of working I like the most.
